Discover the Wild Heart of Canada with Ken Anderson
My Philosophy
Being a wildlife photographer, guide, and workshop leader is about much more than finding animals and pressing the shutter. It’s about respect for the subject, for the land, and for the people who share the experience.
Canada is blessed with some of the most iconic and awe-inspiring wildlife on the planet, including Great Grey Owls, Bald Eagles, Atlantic Puffins, Brown Bears, and Polar Bears. Sharing these remarkable animals and wild landscapes with photographers from around the world is something I take great pride in. My goal is to help others experience the true spirit of Canada’s wilderness in a way that is meaningful, ethical, and unforgettable.
Every tour I lead is built on a foundation of respect for wildlife and ethical fieldcraft. There is no baiting, no flushing, and no harassment. I believe the best images come from patience, understanding, and allowing natural behavior to unfold.
Each workshop is thoughtfully designed from start to finish, with attention to detail in timing, accommodations, and logistics. Participants can focus entirely on their photography and the connection to the wild around them. Small group sizes ensure a more personal experience, minimal environmental impact, and room for creativity.
With years of field experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior and seasonal rhythms, I strive to create opportunities that are both responsible and rewarding.
My philosophy is simple: to connect people with the wild in a way that inspires awe, encourages conservation, and creates lasting memories and images that tell the story of Canada’s incredible wildlife.
